WXYZ Action News in Orchard Lake, MI reports that a guitar was stolen from the home of Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer Bob Seger. The guitar in question is a vintage 1978 Gibson Les Paul. A long time favorite of Seger, he is pictured with it on the cover of his 1994 'Greatest Hits' album.

According to police, the guitar was stolen during a move of the Seger household sometime between August and October of this year. Police have been checking the internet as well as local pawn shops and music stores in an attempt to recover the guitar. The guitar is valued at somewhere between $8,000 and $10,000, but is apparently (and understandably) "priceless" to Seger.

Orchard Lake Police are asking anyone with information to call the Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP. You know who could really solve this case? That's right, Axel Foley!
