For the longest time, it seemed like we weren't going to get a sequel to 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.' But fans never stopped believing, which left the filmmakers with only one perfect song choice when it came time to score the new trailer for 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.'

Yes, Journey fans, the band's seemingly ever-present hit 'Don't Stop Believin'' is back again. This time, it's being used to add a little extra musical drama to our first extended look at the long-awaited follow-up to the 2004 hit starring Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, and David Koechner as a quartet of misogynistic, dull-witted, and hilarious news anchors.

Lead anchor Ron Burgundy (Ferrell) and his pals were at the top of their game when we left them at the end of the first 'Anchorman,' but evidently times have changed; when first we see Burgundy in the new 'Anchorman 2' clip, he's looking disheveled and in desperate need of a job. Fortunately, the sequel picks up during the advent of 24-hour news in the '80s, with a new cable network reaching out to pluck Ron and the gang out of unemployment and put them back on the airwaves.

Whether you're excited to see where Ron Burgundy's legend will lead filmgoers next or you're just jonesing for a few seconds of Journey, check out the trailer above. 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Dec. 20.
