It’s Paul Stanley’s Tattoo!

Yes, this modest and somewhat restrained little red rose lives on the right shoulder of normally flamboyant rocker Paul Stanley of Kiss. Apparently he didn't want a big design that would distract from the facepaint, platform boots and studded leather jackets too much.

According to KissFactMan.com, Stanley got the tattoo done by famous ink artist Lyle Tuttle in 1974. Tuttle has also reportedly worked on the skin of both Janis Joplin and (former Gene Simmons love interest) Cher over the years. As for Simmons? Well... it seems Stanley's bandmate, the big bad Demon, is tattoo-free and plans to stay that way.
