Iggy Pop, James Williamson and Scott Asheton have united to record 'Ready to Die,' their second album featuring the surviving members of that lineup. On April 19, 2011, his former bandmates held a tribute concert to honor his legacy and music. The Stooges have been forced to postpone an upcoming west coast U.S. tour after Iggy Pop broke two bones in his left foot. The singer sustained the damage while performing Aug. 27 at the Peninsula festival in Romania, and doctors have ordered him to rest up and refrain from hitting the stage for six to eight weeks.
