Mariah Gray bet her father Doug, lead singer of the Marshall Tucker Band, that he couldn't fit into his Army uniform from 40 years ago for this Veterans Day. Turns out, he could. So, Mariah had to pay up with a vegetable soup lunch.

The Marshall Tucker Band, whose 'Can't You See' was named UltimateClassicRock.com's greatest Southern rock song ever, will serve as grand marshals for this weekend's NASCAR racing event at the Las Vagas Motor Speedway.

Stuart Swanlund, longtime member of the Marshall Tucker Band, died Saturday (Aug. 4) of natural causes. The slide guitar specialist joined the band in 1985, touring and recording with the group until unspecified health problems forced him off the road recently.
