Legendary guitarist Steve Howe has quit the classic rock supergroup Asia, the band have confirmed.

The classic rock supergroup Asia won't be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of their debut album quite like they planned with their fans in the UK. The band have abruptly cancelled all of their upcoming overseas dates due to drummer Carl Palmer's bout with E. coli.

Progressive rock legends Asia certainly seem to have a lot on their plate as they celebrate their 30th anniversary: a new record, a world tour, a documentary and a reissue of their 1982 debut album.
