It was a different world in 1982, as music videos were still a new art form, so it comes as little surprise that even the hint of something sexually suggestive would get a very stern finger-wag from network executives. Queen's 'Body Language' was one such clip that earned a ban from MTV.

The clip featured numerous body shots of toned men and women with their sweaty glistening skin draped in leather-clad outfits. Add in shots of both men and women in a locker room emerging from the steam room while covered in towels, and whoa! -- watch out! The excessive visual of skin and homoerotic undertones was enough for the network to balk despite the fact there was no actual nudity.
