Now here's something to gossip about. Taylor Momsen -- the actress who played Jenny Humphrey on the CW teen drama 'Gossip Girl' -- has hit the road with Guns N' Roses, with her band the Pretty Reckless opening dates on GN'R's current North American tour. How rock 'n' roll is that?

According to their website, the Pretty Reckless hooked up with the even more reckless Axl Rose and his bandmates when Guns rolled into the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass., on Friday (Nov. 25), and had a total of three opening gigs lined up. The Reckless also opened Saturday in Camden, N.J., and Monday in Hamilton, N.J.

The Pretty Reckless released their debut album, 'Light Me Up,' on April 12, and have supported it with appearances at the Lollapalooza and Wireless festivals, among other events. And although Momsem may best be known as an actress from 'Gossip Girl' or her turn as Cindy Lou Who in 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas,' she seems intent on pursuing a music career.

"I would consider myself a musician who also acts, not the other way around," she recently said. "I couldn't live without writing songs or making music, even if it was just for myself."

That's great and all, but we're not sure this pairing was the best way to further her musical pursuits. The Boston Globe's review of the Worcester show perhaps put it best: "The Pretty Reckless opened with ’80s-style glam metal just a notch above a tuneless churn ... the band’s fate was sealed when [Taylor] tried repeatedly to start a singalong and the audience wouldn’t have it."
