Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek and guitarist Robby Krieger paid tribute to their late bandmate, singer Jim Morrison, by visiting his Paris grave on the 40th anniversary of the Lizard King's death today (July 3).

Manzarek and Krieger lit candles at Morrison's grave, while fans of the Doors dressed in 40th anniversary commemorative Jim Morrison t-shirts looked on. Click here to take a look at a slideshow of photos of Manzarek and Krieger remembering Morrison at the grave.

Morrison was found dead on July 3, 1971, in a bathtub in a Paris apartment. No autopsy was performed, and, as a result, the actual cause of death has never been confirmed.
