Next month, Black Label Society founder Zakk Wylde will add radio host to his resume. 'Wylde on Sports' begins Sept. 4 on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio, channel 87 on XM and channel 210 on Sirius Premiere. The weekly talk show will find the longtime Ozzy Osbourne guitarist answering phone calls from fantasy football players nationwide.

“I’m excited to join my brother-in-law Ken Thomson every Tuesday night on SiriusXM to recap all of the awesome NFL action, and to find out what in the Wylde world of sports is going on,” Wylde says, in what might be the most over-the-top press release quote of all time. “We’ll be hosting an amazing cast of characters from the worlds of sports, music, movies, television & your local bowling alley as we get Wylde on Sports! Yay! Go Team!”

Thompson is a veteran sports talk personality. The six-week radio series will air from 9-11PM ET on Tuesday nights. Wylde is an avid New York Giants fan, having grown up in Bayonne, N.J., and a diehard fantasy football player. He recently participated in a celebrity fantasy football draft with Jacksonville Jaguar running back Maurice Jones Drew, comedian Artie Lange, Playboy playmate Pilar Lastra and more.

The show promises to include interviews with celebrities and sports personalities.
