Yes, it's Motorhead mainman Lemmy Kilmister, and really, why are we wasting time typing out his last name? As if there could ever be two Lemmys!

For over 40 years now, Lemmy's been leading one of the world's heaviest rock bands, releasing 20 studio albums that gloriously reveal absolutely no consideration for the trends or fashions around them. Prior to that, he spent three years as the bass player for British space rock pioneers Hawkwind. In fact, he took the name for Motorhead from a song he wrote for that band. He also briefly served as the roadie for none other than the Jimi Hendrix Experience in the late '60s.

Lemmy's currently recovering from a couple of health scares, but Motorhead's next studio album, 'Aftershock,' is still due in stores September 2013, and we wouldn't be on him staying away from the road for too long. You can keep up with Lemmy and the band's activities at iMotorhead.com.
