That's right, it's former Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler, who has released seven solo albums since disbanding his famous former band for good back in 1995.

In addition to releasing all those solo records, and collaborating with Chet Atkins and Emmylou Harris, Knopfler has also provided the soundtrack to a number of popular movies, including 'The Princess Bride' and 'Wag the Dog.'
