The Doors are ramping up to the release of 'Live at the Bowl '68,' and Ultimate Classic Rock is giving you the opportunity to win both the CD and DVD versions of this special show.

The classic performance took place at the historic Hollywood Bowl on July 5, 1968, with the Doors providing plenty of musical fireworks. The show is widely considered to be among the band's finest performances ever captured on film, and has been restored using the original camera negatives.

As for the sound, it too has been painstakingly remixed and mastered from the original multi-tracks recorded by the group's engineer Bruce Botnick. Keyboardist Ray Manzarek said after checking out the upgraded collection, "You can hear it as if you were at the Hollywood Bowl, on stage with us."

Time and technology has also allowed for three formerly excluded tracks from the show to finally see the light of day, as technical issues initially thwarted their past usage. The performances of 'Hello, I Love You,' 'The WASP (Texas Radio and the Big Beat),' and 'Spanish Caravan' make their debut on the new package, marking the first time the entire concert has been offered together.

The Doors' 'Live at the Bowl '68' arrives in stores Oct. 22. But you can also enter to win both the CD and DVD versions by simply providing your information in the box below.
