You can win the new five-disc 'Ram' book edition box set from Paul McCartney courtesy of Ultimate Classic Rock. The 1971 album was McCartney's second post-Beatles solo outing, though wife Linda McCartney is also credited on the effort.

Commercially, the disc is best known for the McCartney single 'Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey,' but overall the release featured such standout tracks as 'The Back Seat of My Car,' 'Eat at Home,' 'Too Many People,' and 'Heart of the Country.'

This effort, created while Paul and Linda were staying at their Scottish farm on the Mull of Kintyre, featured a number of recruited musicians, including drummer Denny Seiwell, guitarist Hugh McCracken, and flugelhorn player Marvin Stamm.

The disc jumped to No. 2 on the U.S. Album Chart. It received mixed reviews at the time, but has been more well thought of as the years have passed.

One of the harshest commentaries though came from McCartney's former bandmate, John Lennon, who felt that there were several songs like 'Too Many People' and 'Dear Boy' were taking a jab at him, while '3 Legs' was alleged to have been about McCartney's view of his Beatles bandmates. Lennon would later compose the track 'How Do You Sleep?' as his musical response to the 'Ram' record.
