Today (Jan. 19) would have been Janis Joplin's 70th birthday. To honor her, Ultimate Classic Rock is teaming up with Legacy recordings to give one lucky winner a copy of the 'Janis Joplin - the Classic LP collection,' box set on vinyl.

The four-LP compilation, which was released on Thursday, brings together all studio albums that she recorded in her all-too brief career; 'Big Brother and the Holding Company,' (1967) 'Cheap Thrills,' (1968) 'I Got Dem Ol' Kozmic Blues Again Mama!' (1969) and 'Pearl,' which was released in 1971, less than three months after her death on Oct. 4, 1970 at the age of 27.

Included on the records are such classics as 'Down on Me,' 'Piece of My Heart' and her lone No. 1, 'Me and Bobby McGee,' which was written by Kris Kristofferson. The albums were remastered from the original masters and pressed on 180-gram vinyl. All artwork has also been recreated from the original.

Here's how to enter. Simply follow @ultclassicrock on Twitter and re-tweet the announcement of the giveaway by noon EST on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013. We’ll choose a winner at random. Good luck!
