Throughout his long career, Elvis Costello has often placed his songs in movies. Fifteen of those tracks have been compiled in a new CD, 'In Motion Pictures,' and Ultimate Classic Rock is giving away 10 copies, courtesy of Universal Music Enterprises.

The cuts on 'In Motion Pictures' mirror Costello's diversity as an artist and highlight some of the lesser known songs from his catalog, such as 'Lovers Walk' ('The Shape of Things') and 'My Mood Swings' ('The Big Lebowski'). They range from the chainsaw-through-a-dictionary punk-pop of 'Crawling to the U.S.A.' ('Americathon') to the lush romanticism of his U.K. hit cover of Charles Aznavour's 'She' ('Notting Hill').

Similarly, Costello's songs have also been used in various capacities in blockbusters and indie films alike. 'Accidents Will Happen' was sung by a character in the classic 'E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,' while 'I Want You' was used as the backdrop during an intense and creepy sex scene in the 1998 film of the same name with future Oscar winner Rachel Weisz. Another song, 'God Give Me Strength,' which he wrote with Burt Bacharach for the 1996 film 'Grace of My Heart,' led to the two writing an album's worth of material, 1998's 'Painted from Memory.'
