Whitesnake's Michael Devin proposed to actress Drea de Matteo during a concert stop at Atlantic City, just before the band launched into "Is This Love."

"I want to embarrass her as much as I can," Devin said on stage last night (July 25) at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino, while talking about their relationship. As the above video shows, de Matteo appeared with a son and daughter, and responded to Devin's marriage offer with a question of her own. She asked the bassist if he'd "love her children forevermore," before accepting. "I'm gonna marry this motherf–er," she then told the crowd.

Whitesnake's 2011 studio release, Devin's first with the band after joining the year before, was titled Forevermore. He's said an initial band audition with David Coverdale, Doug Aldrich and Brian Tichy was a nerve-wracking experience. "I put down some bass ideas, sang a little – nervously I might add – as David was standing next to me, singing the parts to me! Talk about pressure," Devin told whitesnake.com. "But he's a great source of encouragement; everybody in this band is. It was an afternoon I'll never forget."

Devin took over for Uriah Duffy. Alrich and Tichy have since been replaced by Night Ranger's Joel Hoekstra and a returning Tommy Alridge, respectively. De Matteo rose to fame as a star on The Sopranos. More recently, she's appeared on Sons of Anarchy.
