Def Leppard's Vivian Campbell has gotten married, even as the effects of his on-going battle with cancer become more apparent.

He reports, via Facebook, that "[m]y girl [Caitlin Phaneuf] and I got married yesterday; we had a great ceremony featuring family and friends and the Leppard band and crew. So happy!"

Phaneuf joined the Def Leppard crew as a touring assistant in 2007, and has served in a similar capacity with the Eagles. Campbell was previously married to Julie Campbell, with whom he has two daughters. They married in 1987, just five years before Campbell joined Def Leppard, and divorced in 2012.

Meanwhile, a Hodgkin’s lymphoma relapse has sent Campbell back to chemotherapy -- something he says will become obvious to fans with a change in his appearance. "I have to buzz cut my hair, as I'm leaving most of it on my pillow due to the new chemo I just started," Campbell says.

He said he began "sporting a new 'do" last night during Def Leppard's show in Irvine, Calif. The tour, which features co-headliners Kiss, continues through the summer.
