Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell, who revealed that he is battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma earlier this month, debuted the new close-cropped haircut required by his chemotherapy during the band's set Friday night (June 21) at Hellfest in Clisson, France.

As you can see from the video below, Campbell pulls the look off quite nicely and doesn't seem to be lacking for energy in the slightest. As he humorously explained to radio host Eddie Trunk in a recent interview about his treatment for this form of blood cancer, "Obviously, it's done a number on my hair, so I'm a bit more Joe Satriani these days. I'm hoping that means I'm going to play even more notes like Joe."

Campbell is extremely positive about his prognosis, telling Facebook followers he feels "spiffy" and noting there is an 80% recovery rate for this condition. As he told Trunk, "I've got to say I feel so much better, actually, since the first chemo treatment. I stopped coughing and I definitely feel like I have a lot more energy as a result of that."
