Vince Neil has explained why security at the Palms asked him to leave last week. The dust-up led to a Twitter war between the Motley Crue rocker and the casino's management team. As of now, Neil cannot return to the Palms or any of the associated restaurants.

Neil was reportedly dining at the Little Buddha restaurant, or at least hoping to dine there when he was told booths at the eatery were for parties of four only. He was with just two others. "I offered to buy a magnum of champagne, which cost more than what a fourth guest would eat, but the manager refused," Neil tells Robin Leach at the Las Vegas Sun.

The singer adds that the restaurant was nearly empty, but instead of making a big deal his party ate at the bar, paid the bill and began playing at the Mint Lounge. That's when security asked him to leave. "None of it made sense. Thus, my tweets and then all the other tweets from former Palms employees and customers in support of me.”

The Palms has yet to reply to Neil's explanation, but a closer examination of their press release via Twitter indicates they would say there is more to this story: "As a result of Mr. Neil’s inappropriate behavior, he was asked to leave a restaurant at Palms," one tweet reads, while another asks for an apology.

Neil's new Girls, Girls, Girls strip club is scheduled to make an official grand opening on April 13. According to Leach, that business is "a G-string’s throw from the Palms."
