Tokyo Dome Live in Concert was recorded on June 21, 2013, during the tour in support of A Different Kind of Truth. It’s the only official Van Halen live album that features David Lee Roth, and its 23 songs come from the seven studio albums Roth recorded with the band. Fans who pre-order the album on Amazon or iTunes will receive immediate downloads of “Panama” and “Runnin’ With the Devil.”

Van Halen’s self-titled 1978 debut immediately announced the arrival of a new force in hard rock, from Eddie Van Halen’s groundbreaking guitar playing to Roth being the latest name in the tradition of the horny rock 'n’ roll frontman. In addition to “Runnin’ With the Devil,” it contains such classics as “Eruption,” “Jamie’s Cryin’” and “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love.”

1984, the last album with Roth before Truth's arrival in 2012, saw the band finally break through to the masses thanks to the addition of synthesizers and some era-defining videos. It stayed at No. 2 for five weeks and produced hit singles in “Jump,” “I’ll Wait,” “Panama” and “Hot for Teacher” on the way to selling 12 million copies.
