The cover art for Van Halen's new album 'A Different Kind of Truth' has been revealed, and it's pretty much exactly the same train image the band has been using in recent promotional activities for the record.

As displayed on both the iTunes and Amazon storefronts, in fact, the only difference between the artwork viewed on a Times Square billboard this New Year's Eve is the text.

Supposedly that advertisement was going to be "based" on the album cover, so we thought maybe we'd see more of the train or a different train or a smoking baby or something like that. Whatever, we like it, all we wanna do now is hear the record.

'A Different Kind of Truth' hits stores on Feb. 7. You can see the 13-song tracklist here. There will also be a deluxe edition featuring four songs performed live and acoustically. Van Halen's tour in support of the album begins Feb. 18 in Louisville, KY.
