UFO have announced plans to celebrate the release of their latest album, A Conspiracy of Stars, with a U.S. tour in 2016.

The just-announced dates will find the group in the States throughout March, starting with a March 2 date in Akron, Ohio, and concluding on the 26th in San Francisco. The band's itinerary, 18 dates in all, focuses on the Southwest and Midwest, including three shows in Texas and six in California.

UFO's latest trip to America will come after the completion of a European tour, currently in progress, that includes a string of dates supporting Judas Priest. For more detailed information or to order tickets, visit the group's official website.

The band's 21st studio album and first since 2012's Seven Deadly, A Conspiracy of Stars is the highest-charting UFO album in decades; in their native U.K., it's peaked at No. 50, marking the group's best showing since Making Contact hit No. 32 in 1983. Calling it a "another successful combination of those typical UFO elements with fresh, contemporary ideas," a press release predicts, "We’re confident that not only our longstanding supporters will get their money’s worth, but that younger rock fans will also enjoy the album. We look forward to seeing you on tour."
