Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers Confirmed for Firefly Music Festival

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers have been tapped to headline the 2013 edition of Firefly Music Festival, which is scheduled to take place at the Woodlands at Dover International Speedway in Dover, Del. over the weekend of June 21-23.

This is Petty and Co.’s second confirmed festival appearance of 2013; the first being Alabama’s Hangout Music Festival, which, as reported earlier by Ultimate Classic Rock, is taking place May 17-19.

Persistent rumors also suggest that Petty and the Heartbreakers may soon confirm another high-profile performance at the 2013 Bonnaroo Festival. The lineup for Bonnarroo, which will take place June 13-16 in Manchester, Tenn, will be announced on their website later today (Feb. 19).
