‘Time Travel Week’ Ranks the Best of 1991, 1981, 1971 and More

This week, we’re firing up the official Ultimate Classic Rock time machine to look back at the best rock albums from 20, 30 and 40 years ago. Within these features, you’ll see and hear rock music grow up as you travel back in time.

In addition to running down the top albums from 1991, 1981 and 1971, we’ll talk to author Scott Miller (‘Music: What Happened?‘) about why 1973 represented the peak of classic rock, look back at some of the most noteworthy musical firings in rock history, and break down David Bowie’s space travel song ‘Moonage Daydream.’
