It was quite a shock when the Eagles reunited to tour in 1994, a fact they acknowledged by the name they gave the resulting live album -- 'Hell Freezes Over.'

The band's breakup in in 1980 was a famously nasty one, and the group's various members became firmly entrenched in successful solo careers over the following decade. Luckily, Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Don Felder and Timothy B. Schmidt realized they could give fans a much bigger thrill together in concert, performing marathon shows filled with both solo and Eagles hits. Felder left amid more nastiness in 2001, but the remaining foursome still tour together.
