The final round of the April 2013 Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame election features two of the most influential bands in rock history pitted against each other. Either the Beatles or the Doors will be enshrined along with last month's inductees, the Kinks. Each month, our readers will determine which of eight legendary artists or bands is immortalized forever for their contributions to classic rock history.

The Doors had a fairly easy path to the finals. They breezed through the first round, beating David Bowie by an astonishing 63% to 37%. The semifinals were a bit tougher but they got past Cream, 56% to 44%.

The Beatles, meanwhile, are trying to bounce back after losing to the Kinks in a stunning upset in last month's finals. To reach the finals this time around, they destroyed Buffalo Springfield (88% to 12%) in round one. However, the semifinals proved a bit more difficult, with them beating the Who by a less comfortable, but still somewhat convincing, margin of 55% to 45%.
