As Poison hit the stage at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, Mass. last night (Aug. 18) on their tour with Def Leppard and Lita Ford, the first thing frontman Bret Michaels did was express his gratitude. He addressed the crowd to thank them for over 26 years of loyalty to the band.
After a break of nearly three weeks, Lita Ford is looking forward to getting back out on the road. In a new interview, Ford talks about what it was like being on the road for much of June and July on the 'Rock of Ages' Tour with Def Leppard and Poison.
The film 'Rock of Ages' may have had a bad opening week at the box office, but the tour of the same name featuring Def Leppard, Poison and Lita Ford fared a little better last night (June 20) as it got underway at the USANA Amphitheater in West Valley City, Utah.
With a new album, 'Living Like a Runaway', that was released today (June 19), Lita Ford is thinking of the future. However, there is one aspect of her past that she recently confronted. She ended her long-running feud with Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, with whom she was in the Runaways from 1975-1979.
With a new album, 'Living Like a Runaway,' hitting stores next month, this should be a very happy time for guitar hero Lita Ford. Instead, she's dealing with a nasty divorce, claiming on a new song that her ex-husband has "brainwashed" their children and kept her from seeing them.
After a tumultuous few years that included a divorce, a cancelled reality show, and her first new music in nearly 15 years, Lita Ford is ready to continue her solo career with her eighth solo album, titled 'Living Like a Runaway.'
