Chickenfoot

Formed by the all-star rock team of Sammy Hagar, Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony and Chad Smith, Chickenfoot trade off the members' long careers, whether it's the interplay between former Van Halen cohorts Hagar and Anthony or the stinging whip guitar god Satriani lays on top of the solid rhythm section anchored by Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Smith. The band has released two albums so far, with its self-titled debut climbing all the way to No. 4 on the chart in 2009. In addition to the two studio albums in their discography, Chickenfoot released a live album, 'LV,' in 2012.

Chickenfoot have released 90-second audio clips of all 10 songs from their forthcoming second album, 'Chickenfoot III,’ which drops Sept. 27. “Can't wait for you to hear this!” singer Sammy Hagar writes of the leak in a post on his Twitter feed. “Listen to the clips and tweet which song you think will smoke the most live!"

Chickenfoot are releasing their sophomore album 'Chickenfoot III' on Sept. 27 and it's rumored that Van Halen, the former band of Chickenfoot singer Sammy Hagar and bassist Michael Anthony, are gearing up for a fall release, as well. But Anthony isn't trying to go mano y mano with his former band on the charts or on the road.
