Styx will be joined by Journey on the Carnival Live Concert Series, beginning in spring 2015. Launched last year, the series combines a high-seas vacation with exclusive live entertainment from major music artists -- including Foreigner, who also were featured last spring.

The next round of cruises begins in March and showcases one or more artists per month who play multiple shows while docked in one of the cruise's ports of call. Journey are set to appear on March 18 and 19, 2015, in St. Thomas. Styx will perform four times in June, beginning on the 16th, during cruise stops in Nassau.

“Our 2014 Carnival Live shows have been tour standouts, so we are thrilled to get on board again to rock the boat next year,” Tommy Shaw said in news release announcing Styx's return.

Carnival's ships, which feature intimate, 900-to-1,300-seat theaters, will be leaving from six different U.S. ports, including Miami, Port Canaveral, Tampa and Jacksonville in Florida; Charleston, S.C.; and, for the first time, Galveston, Texas.

The 2015 Carnival Live concert lineup also includes soul great Smokey Robinson, as well as country stars Rascal Flatts and Little Big Town. More information is available on the Carnival website.
