With rumors of his supposed engagement swirling, Steven Tyler's long-time jeweler is speaking out, confirming the rocker had him design a custom diamond ring for his bride-to-be, Erin Brady.

The Aerosmith lead singer and current 'American Idol' judge had the beautiful sparkler made by high-end jewelry designer, Loree Rodkin. Tyler has been a fan of his work for many years.

"Having made Steven's jewelry for so many of the past years it was an honor to be part of his future ... with all my love to Steven and Erin," Rodkin reveals to Us Weekly.

The ring is reportedly a one-of-a-kind original design by Rodkin, that features a 5-carat "brilliant cut diamond set on a micro pave diamond and platinum band."

While Tyler and Brady bask in the excitement of their future together, some of the singer's family are none too thrilled by the big news. Earlier this week, it was reported that members of Tyler's family were "furious" over the engagement, saying that the future Mrs. Steven Tyler is "just not nice" and that she has "been mean to the family."

The engagement rumors first began when Tyler, 63, and Brady, 38, were spotted in Hawaii with the singer's girlfriend sporting her new bling on her ring finger. Tyler's camp still has yet to confirm the news, stating they have "no comment" whether or not their client would be marrying for the third time.

Tyler's first marriage to Cyrinda Fox lasted from 1978 to 1987, and his more recent marriage to clothing designer Teresa Barrick occurred from 1998 to 2006.
