This Friday (Aug. 22), 'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' will hit theaters nationwide. As it turns out, Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has contributed to its soundtrack, which was released yesterday.

The track is called 'Skin City,' and you can stream it above. The electronic drums and futuristic sound may be a shock for those used to the rough-and-tumble rock of Aerosmith, but Tyler is in fine voice, especially in the chorus. With his trademark enthusiasm, he tweeted out the news of the song yesterday:

Despite currently being on the road most of the summer, Tyler's been doing quite a bit of moonlighting lately. He recently duetted with soul legend Smokey Robinson on a new version of the Miracles' 'You've Really Got a Hold on Me.' Earlier this month, he appeared as himself, albeit in animated form, on an episode of 'Hot in Cleveland.'

'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' is the long-awaited sequel to Robert Rodriguez's stylish 2005 hit. It stars Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke.
