Stephen Stills, one-third of Crosby, Stills and Nash, has suggested that the legendary folk-rock trio are finished as a recording entity. The trio are currently on a massive tour together.

They had been working for several years on a covers record with producer Rubin, who brought them to Columbia Records. However, in January 2011, the band split with Rubin due to his busy schedule with other artists.

In a new interview, Stills says he does not believe those tracks by the perpetually tumultuous band will ever see the light of day due to internal conflicts. “We won’t make another album. We won’t finish one,” he told Music Radar. “You should ask David (Crosby) what happened. I’m not inferring anything, but I was getting along fine. I had an idea for 20 years of making the album we wished we’d written. We started picking songs and stuff. Some of the choices Rick made were pretty off the wall, but we tried them.”

Despite currently touring, the group has not released an album of new material since 1999′s ‘Looking Forward,’ which was made with occasional partner Neil Young.
