Slash Pens Song for ‘Phineas and Ferb’ Animated Movie

Slash seems to be wearing many top hats these days. The former Guns N' Roses axe-man has written and performed a song for the soundtrack to the upcoming animated film 'Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension.'

The flick will premiere on the Disney Channel on Aug. 5 at 8PM ET. It will also come out on DVD on Aug. 23, while the soundtrack for the movie will drop on Aug. 2. Slash will also appear in a video for the song.

"I co-wrote and performed a song for my guilty pleasure, Phineas and Ferb recently," says Slash. "It's coming out in August. Very rock 'n' roll. Even for a cartoon! It's actually a song for the new feature length Phineas and Ferb movie. I will be in the animated video to launch the movie, as well. Pretty cool."

When he's not petting snakes with Betty White, Slash is also currently working on his second solo album.
