Slash Jams With Phineas & Ferb in Animated ‘Kick It Up a Notch’ Video

The video for Slash's musical contribution, 'Kick It Up a Notch,' to the movie 'Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension' has surfaced. The cartoon clip features an animated Slash jamming with the title characters and others on the rockin' tune.

In the video, Slash first appears in human form but turns into his animated self when he plugs his guitar into its amp. He is joined by Phineas and Ferb on guitar, with Phineas taking on lead vocal duties. Perry the Platypus is on bass, with Buford Von Stomm on drums.

The video cuts between Slash and Co. rocking the tune onstage and scenes from the upcoming movie, which will premiere on the Disney Channel on Aug. 5 at 8PM ET. At one point, the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz sings a verse, as well.

As previously reported, Slash is a big fan of 'Phineas and Ferb,' and was excited to be part of the project. "To be involved in this movie and having written some music for it is pretty exciting," he explained. "It’s an honor to actually be animated in the ‘Kick It Up a Notch’ music video.”
