Sure, Slash can write the original music for Universal Studios' new Halloween Horror Nights attraction, the Clowns 3D maze. But can he make it through the actual event without letting out at least one cry of surprise and/or fear? He found out when he showed up for a tour on Oct. 16.

You can watch the results in the above video, which found an excited Slash telling a cameraman, "I've been looking forward to this for months and months and months. It's one of those things where you're just going to go in and see what happens. I know there's a lot of stuff going on in there -- the visual experience, and it all becomes one. I'm hoping that's what happens."

It certainly looks like it all comes together in this clip, which shows off a handful of the garish sights and sounds on offer in Clowns 3D, including a couple of chainsaw-wielding maniacs, torture by blacklight, and at least one 3D development so unexpected that Slash couldn't help uttering a word or two not fit for a family website.

Check it all out here, and if you happen to be in the Hollywood area between now and Halloween weekend, be sure to sample the maze for yourself -- it opened Sept. 19, and will remain open to the public through Nov. 2.
