Slash has announced his engagement to longtime love Betty White...no wait...that's not right! The ever popular White and Slash have, however, joined forces to promote the L.A.I.R. at The Los Angeles Zoo.

L.A.I.R., by the way, stands for Living Amphibians, Invertebrates, and Reptiles. The exhibit, which features 60 species of weird, rare and endangered (wait for it...)  amphibians, invertebrates and reptiles, will open on Thursday March 8.

The ad campaign, titled 'Alive In L.A.,' is designed to build and expand awareness of the LAIR, announcing the opening of its new reptile house. In the commercial, the dynamic duo can be seen gazing at the wonders of toads (or are they frogs?) while the reptiles gaze back at them.

This is not the first time the former Guns N' Roses axe man has joined forces with the eternal "Golden Girl." The pair, both lifelong animal lovers, appeared at The Los Angeles Zoo last summer as part of the Zoo Association’s annual Beastly Ball where Slash received the Tom Mankiewicz Leadership Award for his support of wildlife and conservation. Both Slash and White are members of the L.A. Zoo’s board of trustees.
