Sebastian Bach Hints at Future With Skid Row

In a caption below a picture with former bandmante Dave “The Snake” Sabo, Sebastian Bach leaves fans hoping that the long-denied Skid Row reunion may actually happen. It’s a 180 from everything both men have been saying in recent months and years. Yet somehow, this felt inevitable.

“I know there are those of you reading this that have been waiting since 1996 to see this happen,” Bach writes on Facebook. “We got to hang out together for the first time in …. well, a long time. We talked, laughed, & in the end, even hugged. It was great to see my old friend. It was great to talk with Dave about the past….. And the future.”

If you’d forgotten, Bach split with the band in 1996. Skid Row had continued to tour and record with Johnny Solinger on lead vocals since 1999. During a July 2012 interview with Legendary Rock Interviews, Solinger stated that nobody but Bach wanted to get back together with him, despite Bach’s statements that only Sabo was holding up the idea.

“He’s been wanting back in the band since I joined but there’s not much he can say about it and not much I care to say about it,” he said. ”His statement that four out of the five guys are wanting a reunion with him was just his way of getting a little attention and we don’t really care either way about it because it’s not going to happen.”

The band is rumored to be working on ideas for a new album, but no one was rushing the process until everything felt right. It’s clear that if Bach did return, it would not be to split time with Solinger. Skid Row are set to take off on another Kiss Kruise this Halloween, presumably with Solinger.
