Chickenfoot cohorts Sammy Hagar and Joe Satriani, along with Greg Kihn, will all appear at the B.R. Cohn Charity Fall Music Festival, which takes place Sept. 23 through Sept. 25. This is the festival's 25th year of operation and it's produced by Bruce Cohn.

A gala charity auction dinner and a Celebrity Golf Classic are also part of the weekend's events, which will be held in memorial of Cohn's brother Marty, who died of cancer in March.

Hagar and Satriani are set to appear as special guests during the Doobie Brothers set. The Bros. will close out the night's events on Sept. 24 and the addition of Hagar and Satriani ensures that it will unfold like some sort of all-star jam. That ought to be worth the price of admission.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will make their festival debut by closing the festivities on Sunday, Sept. 25 and their special guests will be the Doobie Brothers, along with Jim Messina, Leon Russell, Lara Johnston and Carlos Reyes. This fest is turning out to be quite incestuous, but all these "special guest" lineups could lead to unpredictable and impromptu performances.

The festival will take place at the B.R. Cohn Winery in Glen Ellen, Calif., which is located in the northern part of the Golden State. Tickets and more information are available here.
