Rush vs. Kansas – Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame Finals

After a month of voting, we’re down to the last two. Rush will take on Kansas to see who gets inducted into the 100 percent fan-voted Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame.

Every month, our readers will decide which of eight legendary artists will be honored for their contributions to the genre. Rush had a very difficult time on their way to the finals, winning 51 percent of the vote in both rounds, first against Judas Priest, then against Journey.

Kansas, on the other hand, pulled off two stunning upsets. In the opening round, they beat Kiss in a close race. Then in the semifinals, they had a slightly easier time beating AC/DC with 60 percent of the vote.

So which band will be the May 2014 inductee into the Ultimate Classic Rock Hall of Fame? Cast your ballot once an hour between now and June 1, 2014 at 11:59PM Eastern. The next inductee will be announced on June 2. Be sure to read our official rules, and good luck to both of our finalists!
