With fan anticipation at a fever pitch, the official trailer for the forthcoming Rush DVD / Blu-ray concert flick 'Time Machine' has finally been released.

Clocking in at a minute and change, the preview shows a packed house in Cleveland where the 'Time Machine' film was lensed and high energy levels from both the crowd and the band, with sample clips of Rush staples 'The Spirit Of Radio,' ''Limelight' and 'Tom Sawyer.'

The footage is crisp and well-shot, quality you'd expect from both the band and filmmakers Sam Dunn and Scot McFadyen, who previously worked with Rush on the 'Beyond The Lighted Stage' documentary.

After a preview broadcast on VH-1 Classic last week, fans will get their next opportunity to see 'Time Machine' when it opens a limited theatrical run at the end of October. Current rumors suggest that the theatrical version will show the same edited two hour cut that was used for the VH-1 airing.

The edit left about eight songs on the cutting room floor, but fans will see the full show in all its glory when 'Time Machine' is released for purchase in November.
