Watch Rush Perform ‘Roll the Bones': Video Premiere

Check out Rush performing the title track off of 1991's Roll the Bones from the band's upcoming R40 Live DVD and CD release above. It's an exclusive premiere.

The song is part of a package that includes nearly three hours of music filmed over two stops at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto earlier this year. R40 Live will be released on Nov. 20.

One of the highlights of the shows was Rush's innovative set design, which was updated to match the era of each song throughout the performance. In the above video, for example, the backdrop features the familiar domino design from the original Roll the Bones cover image. The rap segment, meanwhile, includes video with some special guests, including Tom Morello, Peter Dinklage, Paul Rudd, Jason Segel and others.

This is the second time Rush have released a live project recorded in their hometown. Exit ... Stage Left, from 1981, was taped at Massey Hall. "Resist," a track recorded at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in 1997, was also included as part of Different Stages.

The R40 Live release took on deeper meaning for longtime fans after Rush confirmed that this would likely be their last major tour. At the same time, they've taken pains to assure everyone that they're definitely not breaking up, just scaling back a bit. “Whatever this tour is, it’s not the end of the band,” Alex Lifeson has said. "We’re not waving goodbye. We’re waving ‘see you later.’”
