Rush fans, take note: You might want to make sure you pay a visit to your local record store on Nov. 29, because the band has something special planned for Black Friday.

Those plans include a limited-edition 10-inch picture disc for 'The Garden,' which contains the studio version of the title track (first released on the band's 2012 'Clockwork Angels' album) as well as a live recording -- from the upcoming 'Clockwork Angels Tour' collection -- that features Rush performing with the Clockwork Angels String Ensemble.

Given that this is a picture disc, the artwork is a pretty crucial component of the package, so it's worth mentioning that 'The Garden' boasts design work from Norma V. Toraya, a.k.a. Crankbunny, who contributed animated clips that were broadcast on projection screens during performances of 'The Garden' during the Clockwork Angels Tour. The 'Clockwork Angels Tour' CD and DVD will arrive in stores 10 days earlier, on Nov. 19.

'The Garden' arrives as part of a bumper crop of special Record Store Day-affiliated releases this Black Friday, including an Elvis Costello remix CD culled from his new 'Wise Up Ghost' album, live archival releases from Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones and a triple-disc vinyl set from Bob Dylan. For a list of participating stores, visit the Record Store Day website.
