It didn't seem right that the Rolling Stones were only going to play nine shows in North America on their 2013 '50 and Counting' tour. However, shortly after the exclusive pre-sale for certain credit card holder began on Friday (April 5), the band announced that, due to popular demand, they were playing another three dates.

Unfortunately, if the city nearest to you wasn't listed in the initial announcement, you are out of luck. The Stones added two more dates at Chicago's United Center on May 31 and June 3 and another show at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on June 6.

Even with the new concerts, there is still a hole in the touring schedule between May 15 in Anaheim and the first Toronto night on May 25. Of course, with three or four days separating all performances, it's quite possible that they can add another night or two somewhere in that time frame.

Tickets for the Oakland, San Jose, Toronto and Chicago concerts will go on sale to the general public on Monday, April 8 at 10:00AM local time at the Stones' website and Ticketmaster.

UPDATE: The Stones announced today (April 6) that they will play a second gig at Hyde Park. The news was revealed after all 65,000 tickets to their July 6 concert sold out in five minutes. Although the date has not yet been determined, it is expected to be a day or two after the first show.
