Robert Plant and Band of Joy have confirmed an 11-date North American tour that kicks off in San Diego, Calif., and wraps up at the Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, N.J.

The tour dates include a stop at the 10th annual Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, set on a 700-acre farm near the small town of Manchester, Tenn., June 9-12. Plant and the two-time Grammy-nominated Band of Joy will bring their sizzling, soulful brand of rock ‘n’ roll to the last date of the festival.

Band of Joy consists of Patty Griffin (vocals), Darrell Scott (multi-instrumentals / vocals), Byron House (bass / vocals), Marco Giovino (drums and percussion / vocals) and co-producer Buddy Miller (guitar / vocals).

In other news, Plant and Band of Joy have been nominated for three Americana Music Association awards for Duo/Group of the Year, Album of the Year and Artist of the Year. The winners will be broadcast at the Americana Music Festival and Conference October 12 - 15, 2011 in Nashville, Tenn.
