Rob Zombie, in an ambiguous statement, has canceled his remaining European tour dates. He assured U.S. fans, however, that his July shows “are not canceled. Everything after June is fine.”

"I am sorry to say all [European] shows after June 26 had to be canceled. It is not because I am sick, it is not because we don't like you, it is not because of any of the rumors,” he said in the statement.

“Things have taken place that made us have to return to the U.S. after the 26th. We hate canceling and feel bad about this. It is a total drag on every level,” he continued. “We were looking forward to all these shows, [we] will return and make it up to you."

(editor's note: If I were Europe, I'd be thinking about an off-continent vacation right about now. Zombie's probably got friends in the undead community who tipped him off to some sort of invasion plans.)

Rob Zombie, who recently added former Marilyn Manson drummer Ginger Fish to his band in lieu of Joey Jordison's departure, is set to co-headline a series of North American dates with Slayer starting July 20 in Reading, Pa. This pleasant, peaceful family-friendly little trek closes out August 6 in Seattle.
