The legal battle over the name Ratt seems to be nearing an end, with classic-era members Stephen Pearcy, Warren DeMartini and Juan Croucier hitting the stage together last night for the first time since a judge ruled against drummer Bobby Blotzer’s trademark claim.

Of course, the court of public opinion remains open forever, which leads us to the question: Which of the two recently touring versions of Ratt performed their signature hit, 1984’s “Round and Round,” the best?

To help you decide, we’ve included fan-shot versions of Pearcy, DeMartini and Croucier performing the song yesterday, as well as an October 2016 take on the song by Blotzer’s Ratt lineup, which features singer Josh Alan, as well as a quick snippet of Jimi Hendrix’s “Manic Depression.”

Watch them both below, and then let us know which version of Ratt you think came out on top.

The Pearcy / DeMartini / Croucier Ratt are scheduled to play the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, Md., in April. You can keep up to date on their future plans at Pearcy’s official website. Blotzer, who seemingly still controls Ratt’s official Facebook page and website, currently has his band’s next concert scheduled for March 18 in Fort Yates, N.D. Stay tuned for the latest updates from both sides in this ongoing Ratt drama.
