Queen's Roger Taylor has been keeping busy over the past year, playing the occasional show with the band, getting the Queen Extravaganza project off the ground, and quietly starting work on a solo record.

According to the Queen Online website, Taylor has plans to release some brand new solo material in 2013. The drummer also found the public input portion of creating his Queen Extravaganza project from scratch so interesting that he's opening up his own record for immediate feedback from the fans.

The drummer plans to allow the public a chance to hear the music he's been working on and allow them a voice in which songs make the final album. A track will be made available each week leading up to the album release and the public will need to vote and decide what they would like to see appear on the disc alongside some of Roger's favorite songs.

At present, no official title or release date has been set for the upcoming disc.
