A Queen medley sung by the four superstar coaches on NBC's singing competition 'The Voice' launched the first live episode of the show.

The performance started with Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine singing the first verse of Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody.' Cee Lo Green, famous for his Gnarls Barkley tune 'Crazy' and solo hit 'F---- You,' then took over for the first part of 'We Will Rock You,' followed by country singer Blake Shelton on the second verse. Levine came back into the picture to shred a guitar solo on the song.

Pop vixen Christina Aguilera took the stage for the beginning of 'We Are the Champions,' which she sung with her signature histrionics. The other three coaches then teamed with Aguilera for the chorus, which turned into a bit of a mess with the four distinct singers muddling one another's vocals a bit.

Even though it was a somewhat chaotic performance, it was definitely cool to hear Queen's music on a major network singing competition. But, despite the talent that was onstage, it goes to show that it's truly hard to measure up to the late, great Freddie Mercury.
