Win a Pink Floyd ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ Prize Pack

Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' is not only their masterpiece, it's one of the most important rock albums of all time. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of this landmark release, Ultimate Classic Rock is teaming up with the band to offer one lucky fan a Pink Floyd 'Dark Side of the Moon' prize pack.

The band are releasing a special 40th Anniversary Edition of the album this Sunday (March 24). You can win a copy of the 2-CD Experience version of 'The Dark Side of the Moon,' along with a lighter and water bottle each featuring the album's iconic artwork, just by reading Ultimate Classic Rock and taking part in this exclusive giveaway.

Floyd's official website will be streaming the album in its entirety beginning Saturday night (March 23) at 7:01PM ET.  Fans are encouraged to send messages and photos related to the anniversary via Twitter using the hashtag #DarkSide40. The tweets will cause one side of a specially-designed moon on the group’s website to darken. You can purchase 'The Dark Side of the Moon' via iTunes and Amazon, and if you don't have it already, what are you waiting for?

Legendary cover artist Storm Thorgerson has designed some new prism images for the anniversary, which are variations on the album's iconic original cover. They will be featured on their site until March 24. The group will later combine those new images into a digital poster that fans will be able to download.
